UoBMAL is a simulation of the Arab League where students from UK and the rest of the world gather to debate relevant political, economic, cultural and social affairs concerning the Arab World. As a delegate, you will be representing a country in the debates, where you will be trying, through diplomatic measures, to reach a consensus on the topic debated.


UoBMAL helps participants develop soft and analytical skills. It stimulates critical thinking and heightens creative problem solving. Through active participation students sharpen skills in debate, parliamentary procedures, consensus-building and public speaking. Delegates gain personal insights on issues underlying interstate and intrastate Arab relations. This is a fantastic opportunity for personal development and strengthens your CV.
